Ready for a life changing adventure in Uherske Hradiste, Czech Republic?
Happy to work with small children and to learn new languages?
The family center “Akropolis” is glad to announce an open call for a long-term project “Chance for You” under European Solidarity Corps!
We engage volunteers in:
planning, organizing, running and evaluating arts and sports activities for children in summer camps (about 15 children in one group)
- helping with childcare with 1.5– 3 year-olds in the creche and in the nursery (about 10– 16 children in one group)
- language conversation in mother tongue or in English (about 3– 6 people in one group)
- promoting and advertising the centre - creating flyers, photo-documentation, production and processing videos
- working with schools in Zlin region (primarily with elementary and secondary schools)
The project is located in Uherske Hradiste, a lovely town 70 km away from Brno, second large city in Czech Republic. The town has good public trahsport (trains, buses) and it’s not far from Austria and Slovakia. The region is famous for wine making and preserving traditions.
Accomodation: a shared flat fully paid by hosting organization. Also a bike is provided.
